We Are Chanute: United Against Racism

We Are Chanute: United Against Racism will be hosting a peaceful rally on Tues, June 9th starting at 7:30pm at the Main Street Pavilion. There will be speakers, resources available where you can educate yourself on how to confront racism and a voter registration table. They are asking that you bring a mask and abide by the six feet apart rule. You can also bring a chair if your not able to stand the entire time.  The organizers are stressing that this isn’t a protest but a peaceful initiative to stand in solidarity with our black community members here in Chanute and learning opportunity.
