Early Childhood Event – Cherryvale
My Family and USD 447 Parents as Teachers are hosting a DRIVE THRU Early Childhood Event, Thursday Nov. 12th from 11am -1pm at Logan Park in Cherryvale. This is for Montgomery County residents with children ages birth through 5 years of age. This FREE event offers resources and lots of free goodies. Chanute High School Culinary Arts will be offering their monthly Take and Bake Meals again this month. This month meal is BBQ Meatballs, Cheesy Potato Casserole and Pumpkin Bars. Serves 4-6 people. Chanute State Farm Agent - Jennifer Dietsch is hosting a Hat and Gloves Drive for kids in preschool through 2nd grade classes. With colder days on the way, its important these kids stay warm during their mask breaks outside. Shop Small Business Saturday, Nov 28th. Stop by Main Street Chanute, 110 E. Main at 9am to get a shopping with coupons from various local merchants. Chanute Parade of Lights
26th Annual Chanute Christmas Parade of Lights will be held Thursday, Dec 3rd beginning at 6:30pm on Main Street. This years theme is "The Magic Of Christmas". Entry forms are available online or by calling 431-0056 or emailing director@chanutemainstreet.com. $50 first place prize in each of the three categories.
