Early Childhood Event – Cherryvale

My Family and USD 447 Parents as Teachers are hosting a DRIVE THRU Early Childhood Event, Thursday Nov. 12th from 11am -1pm at Logan Park in Cherryvale. This is for Montgomery County residents with children ages birth through 5 years of age. This FREE event offers resources and lots of free goodies. CHS Take & Bake Monthly Meal

Chanute High School Culinary Arts will be offering their monthly Take and Bake Meals again this month. This month meal is BBQ Meatballs, Cheesy Potato Casserole and Pumpkin Bars. Serves 4-6 people. Cost is $25.  Order deadline is Friday, Nov 13th. Pickup is Nov 19th by 3:30pm in the Culinary Arts room #910.  Contact the Chanute High School on how to order.

CHS Mary Poppins

Chanute High School will be putting on a special performance of Mary Poppins this weekend! Two performances this Saturday night starting at 7:00pm and a matinee performance on Sunday starting at 3:00pm  To limit contact, the performance will be available to stream from home. Holiday Market / Vendor Show – Mound Valley

Hat & Glove Drive – Chanute

Chanute State Farm Agent - Jennifer Dietsch is hosting a Hat and Gloves Drive for kids in preschool through 2nd grade classes.  With colder days on the way, its important these kids stay warm during their mask breaks outside. Please, join her and picking up a pair of small gloves or small hats and drop them off at Jennifer Dietsch office, 1518 S. Santa Fe in Chanute,  now through the end of the month.

Chanute Main Street Small Business Saturday

Shop Small Business Saturday, Nov 28th. Stop by Main Street Chanute, 110 E. Main at 9am to get a shopping with coupons from various local merchants. Only 50 bags will be available with 10 random bags having a $5 Chamber or Main Street Gift Certificate hidden inside. After grabbing your bag head out shopping at local stores around Chanute.

Chanute Parade of Lights

26th Annual Chanute Christmas Parade of Lights will be held Thursday, Dec 3rd beginning at 6:30pm on Main Street. This years theme is "The Magic Of Christmas". Entry forms are available online or by calling 431-0056 or emailing director@chanutemainstreet.com. $50 first place prize in each of the three categories.
