The Founding of Chanute Part 2

The Chanute Historical Society and Museum will hold a part-2 program of The Founding of Chanute on Tues. Jan 21st at the Chanute Historical Center at 411 S. Central Ave starting at 6:30pm.  Jim Whaley will tell us the part two of our town known as Chanute. Plat maps of two of the original towns and a 1905 plat map of Chanute, donated by the Robertson Estate, will be available for viewing. Photos on loan from the Chanute Public Library will also be on display. LIght refreshments will be served.
