Chase Your Tail 5k Dog Run/ 3k Walk -Chanute

Castaways Animal Shelter is hosting a “Chase Your Tail” 5k Dog Run / 3K Walk on Saturday, May 5th from 8am-11am.  This is a event for you to participate in with your furry friend and will take place at and around the shelter, which is very close to completion! Register by April 23rd to guarantee t-shirt pick up on race day. After April 23rd, t-shirts may need to be picked up after race day (date tbd). They will be serving fresh authentic street tacos during & after the 5k/3k for Cinco de Mayo. Other snack and drinks will be provided for all runners, humans and animals! 50/50 raffle drawing, music entertainment and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place 5k runners!
